The first 15-21/Q6 sword in this game surfaces after over 5 years? And it's a Crys?!?! Omfg sooo unbelievable.

Ofcourse if it's real it must have dropped in the earliest months of GW, I've seen quite a few low req (including a req.5 gold one) / low dmg crys gold and purple so it could be from the same source, but still I would never expect that high dmg to ever be possible on a req.6.

Let someone see this in game and verify.

Tho when in early 2005 gold crystas dropped from crystal desert when non max ones came around it also did drop purples?

and if im not completely wrong also frozen chest and lost strongbox did drop purples?

but as discussed before there been that one purple r7 crystalline (posted also somewhere in traders outpost), even tho not sure if its real neither.

well I saw many req5-7 nonmax gold crystallines too.
but ive never seen any purple with req lower 8....

im pretty sure its fake.... but if it would be real it would rly be one of the most awsome swords ever lol

It's not even the skin and colour which amaze me, but the fact that it's req6 15-21. I doubt that's actually possible. Like I said, b/o pl0x

I had and still have it.

a r9 max dmg 14% unconditional Chaos Axe. but I fck'd it up by adding a Zealous mod to it thinking I could always expert salvaged it back. BOY was I wrong. I was able to expert salvage the mod but the -1 stayed. Still QQ'in about it. And no I am not making this up. I also dont have a screenie, up to you to believe me or not.

I've heard the very low gold crystallines (can't remember a purple lower than req7) dropped from a barrel in one of missions in Kryta (was it Divinity Coast?).
Becaus any dropsource droping white and gold weapons can also drop purples theres no reason to believe the lost strongbox and that barrel didn't. Imho it'a just becausw nobody paid any attention to purples and nonmax items back in 2005 (everyone was told to merch/salvage them) so few of them were kept and remembered. I think that if someone would get a 15-21 req.6 sword (common skin, not crys obv) back then and asked for a pc, he'd get told its worthless because nonmax. The players' mentality was so much different then. Just think that for example it 's actually quite likely that a 15al/req 6 shield was a possible drop before the NF nerf, but none were kept till the times when people would see it as something exceptional.

Well... if the Chaos Axe came with the Zealous mod on it (as a drop) that scenario might be possible.

Check the uncond. thread for the story about the "fake" unconditionals coming with a zealous or vamp mod and when you salvaged the mod the -1reg would stay. Still those were fixed by an update anyways as far as I know, so it would even have become an "average" weapon without you salvaging the zealous mod.

E: And the req7 Mursaat would still be ePeenish with the 15/-1

Trying to get it pc'd but without much success (only private msgs of buyers).

Well sum1 replied and said it's worth 150+ ectos but i believe it's worth more, depending of what the "+" means...

Those are not that rare. The "+" usually means "everything more than 150e is a reasonable offer, but don't expect it to be much more than that" (e.g. 200e would be surprising).

The Healing Eternal is cool, for sure! But I agree, those are not exactly "rarest weapon ever" material. They're not easy to find, but they're out there. They've been a possible drop from inherent source areas as long as the game's been around. Here's a pic with more.

The Water Crude Shield was a drop I got in HM Divinity Coast mission about a week ago (from one of the Mergoyles up by the fountain where you have to wash your feet,) so yes they can still drop.

I've got an embossed you might like :P It's +xx health and +1 (20%) Death I believe. R12 maybe? I'll have to check but it's my Jagged warrior shield (W/E the hell that means)

The q6 cryssie is an obvious 180° flip, it is explained and showed pretty well in the Low req thread...

I would actually like to see a gold, max uninscr Tribal Axe.. Or any gold uninscr tribal for that matter.. Anyone know if they drop?

In fact, it's fairly common knowledge that the game used to drop max r7 swords, so 15-21 r6 may very well used to have dropped, too.

Am I saying it is highly unlikely that 15-21 r6 swords can still drop today? Yes, I am, because the lowest req. we know of that can still drop with 15-22 (max damage) swords is req. 8. If someone provides proof of an r7 15-22 sword dropping today or even an r6 15-21 sword dropping today, that's great! But so far A LOT of people have been looking and haven't been able to find such things. If you want to help us in the hunt, please see this thread.

I realize pointing this out is likely to make the next shopped picture even more convincing. Oh well. It's the internet, it happens. I don't understand the point of faking shots of what might drop in a video game, but there are all manner of folks who get their kicks in all manner of ways. (I did save the image to HDD from that tinypic-hosted site before posting this, though. I do not expect the picture here will mysteriously change to a more convincing version, but I figured it was worth a few kB just in case.)

A few weeks ago somebody wasn´t sure about this one so he asked about it in a german forum. Dropped for him in Chows Estate HM.

Tribal Axe q9 dmg 6-28 12%-50 oldschool. Two of the veterans from overthere said that this one was the first oldschool max dmg tribal axe they had ever seen.

Perhaps this one might be a candidate for a rare weapon (of course not "the rarest").
